- Why do you have log retention days?
In order to keep our database fast we periodically delete old data. Each plan has different longer retention days.
- Do you have a trial?
Yes. Our Starter and Growth plans have a 10 day trial to them.
- Do plan upgrades apply to a specific project?
No. Plans apply across every project in an organization.
- Do I need to install any special packages?
No. Get your API key and do a request towards our URLs, from the client side, and read the response or read it later via API.
- How can I check an IP address?
With VisitorQuery you do not check IP addresses, instead, you check visitors. A simple request from a webpage or application that is running on the client side is enough to detect proxy usage.
- Can you detect residential proxies?
Yes. We can detect any proxy or VPN usage, residential ones included.
- Are you using IP databases to query for proxy and VPN networks?
No. We are not using any IP address database to establish if a visitor is using a proxy or VPN network.
